I love this beanie. Mine came out a little off. When I did 18 orange then the 2 orange 3 white stripes u didnt say how many and ur hands covered this part. Then there is 4 orange on each side of the 11 white then back to 18 orange. I had 6 stitches left over. I went back and counted rows 8-12 and I had from 65-70 stitches. I think I may be starting in the wrong stitch. I would do better if I knew how many there should be. Is there written instructions? It is a great tut. Easy color changes and cute beanie.
I guess I had the answer to my own question. I added up all those #'s from 13 thats what I needed in 8-12. I undid to row 3 and it looks so much better. Now when I get to 12 I can take or lose a stich to come out right. I'm learning. Thanks, ur tut is helping.

I would like to know the circumference of the finished adult, young adult and childs BB-8 hat, The adult hat I finished using medium weight yarn and a g hook came out too large for the intended male.
